To fix the San Andreas fault.

TO WHOM THIS MIGHT CONCERN

The hugest fault on Earth (The San Andreas fault), has been building up tectonic pressure without a full release for a long time. It only had small releases since it's gigantic one in the 1906 earthquake. This will lead to a huge earthquake, the hugest ever, and according to the solar winds and incremented solar activity the building of pressure might have a titanic release soon.

There are specific measures that can be taken to fix the San Andreas fault or to at least lessen its danger to a minimum.

The proper way of doing it is building a low bridge perpendicular to the gap (as low as possible to lower the cutting and bending momentums to a minimum) every 50 meters all along the 1050 Kms of the gap. They must be made of precompressed concrete with pilotaging into the ground at least 6 meters deep. It should be very much deeper but that would increase momentums up to a breaking point for the structure in this lateral pull of the sliding of plates. It could be interesting taking into account steel pilotaging. The pilotage must not be vertical, but inward at an angle of 30 to 45 degrees (45 degrees is best to lower the momentums, especially on this strike-slip type of earthquake pulls) choosing its inclination depending on the sigma of the terrain in different areas. The pilotage must be made at least 5 to 7 meters away from the gap to avoid ground crumbling, depending on the terrain. Use 3600 kg/cm2 sigma steel or higher for the precompressed concrete and something stronger than Portland cement (something better than 45 kgs/cm2 sigma). Between these perpendicular to the gap bridges another parallel to the gap bridge should be built using the same specifications. The parallel to the gap bridges are supposed to stop the sliding on the surface of the Northern Pacific plate and the North American plate, whereas the perpendicular to the gap bridges are meant to enforce this primary intention and to also lessen the momentum inertia that produces earthquakes along the gap. The parallel to the gap bridges have to be broader and shorter than the perpendicular to the gap bridges which have to be at least 12 to 15 m long each to take into account the 30 to 45 degrees pilotaging.

The 40021 bridges thus being built will grab the continental surface impeding the outer layers of the Northern Pacific plate sliding past the outer layers of the North American plate and only allowing movement on the undersea part of it when it passes seaward near San Francisco. This allowing undersea movement will create a certain flexible let off to discharge energy. With time, this hindering the movement of the outer layers of the plates will cause some changes on the inner layers of the plates tectonics gradually bringing small transformations to the Californian lithosphere. This is of a lesser concern in this kind of transform fault. The idea is to stiffen the outer layers of the lithosphere, only allowing flexibility on the inner layers. With time the lithosphere structure will readjust itself.

This ground stitching might be able to reasonably hinder the relative movement of about 1 cm per year (geologic time) of the Northern Pacific plate sliding past the North American plate in a northerly oriented direction. Since the ending of the 19th century the movement along the fault has increased considerably, also due to the astrological transits of Pluto, even though this explanation is not in the context of this article and so we won't get away from plate tectonics' reasons, being them elastic strain, gravitational potential, chemical reactions, or motion of bodies. The case of the San Andreas fault is that of elastic strain energy causing tectonic earthquakes. The 20th century had an average increased relative movement of the plates of about 4 to 6 cm per year. During the 1906 earthquake we had a plates' relative movement of as much as 6.4 m. Had the gap been stitched this would have never happened. It is certainly not possible to completely impede the gigantic movement of the Northern Pacific plate sliding past the North American plate, but it is possible to lessen its effect on the surface with this procedure.
This stitching will tend to make the Earth's crust stiffer to also stop multiple nearby earthquakes along the gap which are the pattern and style of pulls along the San Andreas major fault.

It will be a huge job with thousands of workers on it taking several years to accomplish.
